Midday performances for the youngest

Svevning (Hover) with Siri&Snelle Produksjoner (NO)

Svevning is a dance concert for children from 0 to 3 years.

The performance is created for the youngest of audience, where they encounter sounds, shapes and movements from their own world. They are entertained with colorful toy instruments, strange faces, funny noises and movements full of emotions. A poetic and musical universe where there is room for nonverbal communication at children's own eye level.

Nordområdebevegelsen (The High North Movement) with Liv Hanne Haugen /Haugen Produksjoner (NO/BE/RU/ES))
In Nordområdebevegelsen Liv Hanne Haugen takes us into parts of the High North issues. The Pomor trade between Norway and Russia in the 1800th century up to the Russian Revolution of 1917 creates the backdrop for this performance. This period brought with it the evolution of the Pidgin language that developed between trading partners, known as Moja på Tvoje or Russia-Norwegian. The performance is a collaboration with Dramatikkens Hus, The Museum of Reconstruction in Hammerfest and Arnold Johansen, an artist living in Hammerfest.
This is a cross-artistic and international project with artists from Norway, Russia, Belgium and Spain. With NORDOMRÅDEBEVEGELSEN Liv Hanne Haugen covers our historical past and focuses on today's development in the High North.

DreaMe med Catherine Jodoin og Henrik Kaalund (TY/DK)

This performance is about the relationship between reality and wishful-reality. It is a dance solo in which both the dancer and the audience experience what it is like to relate to information flow equal to what we see in our media driven society today. The individual’s meeting with the opportunities of the virtual world, and temptations to for example create new realities about yourself are themes within the performance, which uses video projection, text and dance as forms of expression.

Thursday 10. of November at 6 p.m. (Frityren)

Friday 11 of November 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. school performances

Animal Magnetism 3

Videoinstallasjonen vises her i hele festivalperioden.

Regi: Henriette Pedersen
Film, klipp og lys: Tilo Hahn
Tekst: Maria Veie
