Nordområdebevegelsen (The High North Movement) with Liv Hanne Haugen /Haugen Produksjoner (NO/BE/RU/ES))
In Nordområdebevegelsen Liv Hanne Haugen takes us into parts of the High North issues. The Pomor trade between Norway and Russia in the 1800th century up to the Russian Revolution of 1917 creates the backdrop for this performance. This period brought with it the evolution of the Pidgin language that developed between trading partners, known as Moja på Tvoje or Russia-Norwegian. The performance is a collaboration with Dramatikkens Hus, The Museum of Reconstruction in Hammerfest and Arnold Johansen, an artist living in Hammerfest.
This is a cross-artistic and international project with artists from Norway, Russia, Belgium and Spain. With NORDOMRÅDEBEVEGELSEN Liv Hanne Haugen covers our historical past and focuses on today's development in the High North.
