Prime Mover

Roosna & Flak

Saturday 10 November 18.00 hr, Ole Olsensalen, Arctic Culture Centre

A Prime Mover is an impulse to do something. It is also the huge machine we are part of, a machinery of environment, technology, history, and a sense of our impressions and dreams.

A: May I put my heart at your feet? B: As long as you don't soil my floor. - Heiner Müller

In Prime Mover, the Estonian / Norwegian choreographer duo Külli Roosna and Kenneth Flak take motion as both cause and effect, with freedom and inevitability. What moves us in a world where all parts are moving? What do we find in this? How do we make sense of it all?

The audience is invited into a vibrant, breathless universe without beginning and end, to a place where play and seriousness melt together, where thought and movement is one.
