Schismogenesis

Tony Tran and Antero Hein

Sunday 11 November 15.00 hr, Frityren, Arctic Culture Centre

"Schismogenesis" is an intense and personal duet where hierarchies and dynamics are explored through contemporary dance.

Power relationships play a role in large and small human groups and social relations. In this dance performance, two young men, dancers Antero Hein and Tony Tran try to find their role in their relationship. They move in a physical universe of constantly testing each other's boundaries. How is a human shaped in the meeting with another? What happens in the power game between them? What do we really think of as a personal identity?
