Søstre

Haugen produksjoner

Through humour, self irony, dance, song and video the two sisters, Anne Katrine and Liv Hanne Haugen, show how togetherness, rivalry and love is connected in close family relations.

Brothers, mothers, fathers, friends and other family members will recognise themselves in many of the connected situations created when the sisters explore different episodes from their lives.

The mother of the two have no less than seven sisters. During the performance a video is shown where the mother and her sisters talk about themselves and their relations to each other. On stage the two dancers show how their own sisterhood is and has been. Unforgettable episodes like their very different versions of what really happened when one of them planted herself on the floor of a shop, crying her heart out. What happens when one of the two sisters get pregnant? Or what about the seven sisters only brother- what has his life really been like?

The performance premiered during The Arts Festival of North Norway last year, and have toured the north of our country, well received by both the audience and the critics.

"Humour, plenty of humour (...) about sisterhood (...) Tons of self irony and the ability to laugh at oneself." (translated)  Nordlys

"The episodes made the audience shake of laughter, and the good feeling held through the whole of the performance." (translated) Finnmark Dagblad

"Brilliantly about sisterhood" (translated) Finnmarken
